  • International training on “Molecular Diagnosis of Avian Influenza”, for SAARC nominees, held at HSADL, Bhopal, India from 08.12.2009 - 19.12.2009. A total of four participants from Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan participated in the programme (Two weeks).
  • International Workshop on Laboratory Biosafety and Biosecurity From Nov. 17-19, 2009 sponsored by WHO, India Office. A total of 23 participants from India and abroad participated in the workshop (Three days).
  • State Govt Sponsored Training on Avian influenza laboratory diagnosis organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal sponsored by Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Chattisgarh from 24.02.2009 to 28.02.2009 (Five days).
  • International Laboratory Training on Rapid detection of Avian influenza virus conducted under FAO-UN Cross Border Project at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal from 20.01.2009 to 24.01.2009. A total of 4 participants from Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and India took part in the course (Five days).
  • VCI sponsored Training on Diagnosis and Control of Bird Flu sponsored by Veterinary Council of India under CVE program at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal from 16.12.2008 to 20.12.2008 (Five days).
  • International Training cum workshop on Nucleotide sequencing and analysis of avian influenza virus organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal sponsored by FAO from 25.11.2008 to 04.12.2008. One scientist from FAO technical cell from Bangladesh was trained in various aspects of PCR, cloning, sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of avian influenza virus (Two weeks).
  • VCI sponsored “Training on Diagnosis and Control of Bird Flu” organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal under Continuing Veterinary Education Program sponsored by Veterinary Council of India from 24.09.2008 to 30.09.2008 (One week).
