Institute Technology Management Unit (ITMU)

The ITMU, NIHSAD, Bhopal was established in 2016 under ICAR XII th plan Funded Scheme, ‘National Agriculture Innovation Foundation (NAIF)’. The unit supports and facilitates management of the IP portfolio of the Institute and transfer of technologies/ know-how approved by Institute Technology Management Committee following ICAR policy guidelines on Intellectual Property Management and Technology Transfer/Commercialization.

Veterinary vaccines:

Inactivated low pathogenic avian influenza (H9N2) vaccine for chickens.

Inactivated Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV-1) Vaccine for cattle.

Veterinary diagnostic kits:

Indirect ELISA kit for detection of avian influenza virus (AIV) antibodies in chickens.

Indirect ELISA kit for detection of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) antibodies in domestic pigs

Lateral flow test for rapid detection of H5 avian influenza virus antigen in poultry.
